At Nijssen, automation often starts in the very first phase of a project. Through close collaboration between the client, Sales Engineer, Project Engineer and Electrical Engineer, a clear control strategy for the installation is developed. Team Automation then translates this design into smart software, PLC programming and a clear, user-friendly visualisation. By carrying out extensive dry testing in advance, we ensure that the functionality of the installation is carefully checked before commissioning begins.

A cooling or climate control installation consists of many different components: compressors, motors, valves, sensors and control components. Individually, these components do very little. It is the automation software that connects, controls and coordinates them. This results in an installation that is not only technically well built, but also reliable, efficient and easy to operate.

Installation and commissioning

The installation is built by our experienced technicians, who ensure that all components are carefully positioned and connected. Once the installation is technically ready, Nijssen Automation gets to work on site. During commissioning, the software, control system and visualisation are integrated with the practical operation of the installation.

This is the phase in which it becomes clear whether the cooling or climate control installation performs as intended. In some cases, practical conditions on site require adjustments, as they may differ from the original design. This is where the strength of our automation team becomes clear: responding quickly, analysing the situation and making adjustments until the installation performs exactly as it should. In this way, we ensure a stable, safe and optimally functioning system.
