May 2017 - Nijssen introduces its own control of the Philips Dynamic GreenPower LED production modules. The control protocol and the PLCs are integrated into the Nijssen Control Systems. The lighting is controlled from the visualization of the operating system.

June 2016 - Nijssen will present the mobile climate chamber MyGrowthRoom at the Greentech. With MyGrowthRoom cultivators and researchers will be able to efficiently optimise growth recipes and test new LED solutions. Various refrigeration innovations save up to 30 per cent of the energy use for cooling. These energy saving solutions can also be applied to a larger scale production environment.

June 2016 - Thirty years ago, in 1986, Nijssen was the first Dutch supplier to introduce LED lamps for plant growth. This year we are launching our innovative MyGrowthRoom. This allows every grower to investigate the effects of LED lighting on their crops themselves.

February 2017 - Nijssen recently realised three-tier ripening rooms for avocados on the authority of Mission Produce. This has been one of the solutions Nijssen brought to attention during the Fruit Logistica in Berlin, 8-10 February. 

February 2016 - The extension of the Mooy Logistics logistic centre in Hazeldonk (Breda) will receive ripening chambers with a height of three pallets (three-tier ripening chambers). Nijssen Koeling will realise this Dutch premier in a building combination with American company Thermal Technologies Inc (TTI).
